One of the best ways to keep your mini blinds clean is to dust them weekly. In this way, the dust will not build up on them and cause you to have to clean them more thoroughly. You will first need to adjust the slats closed and then use a duster made of lamb’s wool to remove the dust. Lamb’s wool will attract the dust and this will make it much simpler to dust them.
You can use a paintbrush if you cannot locate lamb’s wool to dust with. You may want to lay down some towels to catch the dust that comes off of your mini blinds. If your blinds need a more thorough cleaning, then the easiest way to do this is to take them down and wash them off in the bathtub.
If your blinds are located in the kitchen, then you may have to deal with grease stains on them. There are many things to clean grease stains, including many all-purpose cleaners. You will want to thoroughly spray the blinds and then wipe them off a few minutes later. To clean the other side of the blinds, just adjust them until that side is showing. It couldn’t be simpler!

If you want to give your blinds a quick and easy cleaning, then this will be your favorite tip. All you need to do is put on some old cotton gloves, make a solution of 1-quart water and 1-teaspoon ammonia, and clean your blinds using your hands and fingers.
A vacuum cleaner attachment can also clean your mini blinds easily. All you need to do is vacuum the dust off of them. In this way, you do not have to remove the blinds from the window.
Another fun tip is to rub the mini blinds with a dryer sheet, because this will keep the blinds from attracting dust, which will save you time cleaning them.
